Kill Shot, book two of the Power Unleashed Series, is available for pre-order on Amazon in ebook format. It will be released on February 8, 2023. The paperback edition will be released close to the same date.

On May 31, 2022, I sent the manuscript for my second novel in the Power Unleashed Series to my editor for the developmental edit. I am excited for her to read it and see that the knowledge I gained from her edit of The Lion Within improved the second book.
​
The second book is set after the fall of the United World Order in the Western Zone—formerly North and South America. Jesus calls Rory to serve as one of the presidents of the Americas while she is still reeling physically and mentally from trauma incurred before the defeat of the Order. As an independent, private young woman, Rory attempts to overcome her emotional trauma on her own. As if all that isn’t enough, the Order—crippled but still ruling the rest of the world—wants her head!

The developmental edit is a review of the plot of the novel. It points out ambiguity or cracks in the plot. The edit takes about a month and then I consider the suggestions and make appropriate changes. There are still a lot of things to do before the manuscript becomes a published book. The book cover must be designed, a line edit (grammar edit) must be performed, and the fully edited manuscript must be formatted for the paperback book and formatted differently for the e-book. After the paperback and e-book formats are submitted to Amazon, proof copies must be received and proofread. I hope the book will be available on Amazon by the end of 2022.
