Muffalettas and Murder by Jann Franklin Review

Do you like to read deliciously hilarious cozy mysteries? Then Muffalettas and Murder: Book 1 of The Small Town Girl Mysteries by Jann Franklin is the book for you.

Recently widowed mystery author, Evangeline Delafose, returns to her small home town and along with her childhood friend, Shorty, accepts a request from the local sheriff’s office to review a cold-case murder file. Shorty obtained his Private Investigator license online and it shows. Ev and Shorty—who by the way is not short and quite the heartthrob for the local single ladies—will keep you laughing. And I have never eaten a muffaletta, but I sure crave one now!

Born and raised in a small town, I grew up with quirky small-town characters, and I enjoyed the eccentric cast in Graisseville, Louisisana.

Lucky for me, there are three other books in the series, since I’ve grown attached to the characters. I highly recommend this book. Muffalettas and Murder is available on Amazon.
