Ken Watts, author of Neurifact, brings a wealth of real-world experience to his debut novel. A former Marine Corps pilot with over 100 missions under his belt and a background as a flight test engineer, Watts later transitioned to an engineering career in the aero-defense industry. With a keen eye on the evolving world of artificial intelligence, he began to explore how AI might one day assist fighter pilots—an idea that ultimately inspired Neurifact.
The story centers on Nate Walters, a former Marine turned neuro-engineering professor. Lancer stands out not just for his skill, but also for his unwavering faith—beginning every mission, real or simulated, with prayer and Scripture. As Lancer repeatedly escapes seemingly impossible situations using maneuvers that defy conventional logic, the AI system known as Perry is left to interpret the unexplainable. What does it conclude?
